Job Description

Domestic Violence Support Worker Vacancy waiting to be filledVenn Group would like to introduce the following Support Worker position available inNorth YorkshirePosition: Domestic Violence Support Worker Location: Harrogate, York or Scarborough office – Homeworking available Rate: £11.00 p/hour PAYE (inc of holiday pay) Length: 3 months Hours: 37.5 hours p/weekThe role will predominantly involve:

  • Working within the organisations Domestic Abuse Perpetrators Programme
  • Aiming to protect victims of Domestic Violence
  • Delivering interventions to perpetrators in virtual settings
  • Delivering one to one and group interventions for male and female perpetrators of domestic violence
  • Aiming to prevent abusive behaviour escalating / reducing risk
  • Conducting risk and needs assessment with new referrals to assess suitability for the programme
  • Conducting short motivational sessions
  • Encouraging service users to participate and engage with full behaviour
  • Co leading structured domestic violence group work
