Job Description

Credit Control Supervisor, £28-30K, HarrogateWe are currently recruiting for a Harrogate based company who provide intensive and facilities management supporting independent living.The Credit Control Supervisor will work alongside the existing finance team and report into the Finance Manager. Key tasks include ensuring invoices are paid on a prompt basis. Liaising with the Operations team to get payments set up. Reviewing customer accounts and providing support to other sales ledger staff.Key Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of 3 limited companies sales ledger’s, ensuring customers pay on a prompt basis.
  • Liaising with other departments to arrange payment options when new tenants move into a property.
  • Complete regular aged debt reviews.
  • Identify queries and communicate with the relevant department to resolve
  • Speak with local authorities to resolve housing benefit claims, suspensions, queries etc.
  • Supervise sales ledger staff, reviewing bank allocations are completed on a regular basis and allocations are accurate.
  • Reporting on and analysing overdue debt on a monthly basis
  • Preparing customer statements and dealing with any queries.
    • You will have at least 3 years credit control experience, condiment with IT packages, will to be flexible and respond to changing circumstances. You will also have strong communication skills and time management and be highly organised. Full clean driving licence and Chartered Institute of Credit Management Qualification would be desirable.
