Job Description

Business Development Manager - Retail Sector - Hybrid Offering £35,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary + Commission & Benefits for the successful candidate.Our client Is an established giftware business holding strategic relationships with large retails Including John Lewis, Boots, Harvey Nichols, Waitrose and Ocado with a rapidly growing network of over 10,000 SME businesses. Due to continued growth they arenow recruiting a Business Development Manager to drive growth, targeting new UK retailers, building trusted relationships and gaining buy-in.Working closely with the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic growth of our clients business. This position is ideal for someone with an established network of retail connections, has a passion forthe future of retail and is prepared to take on a pioneering role. The Business Development Manager will follow a vision, seek out the right contacts and create opportunities at a senior level.Business Development Manager - Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively establish and develop new business sales opportunities within the UK retail sector.
  • Arrange and attend face to face meetings nationwide on a weekly basis.
  • Lead sales strategy for the UK and drive its implementation through our clients complete product range.
  • Develop and drive the business strategy forward.
  • Achieve weekly/monthly KPIs and produce monthly report.
  • Expand our clients distribution across all channels through winning new customers and expanding depth and breadth of distribution within current customer accounts.
  • Contribute to new product development ideas through engagement with business accounts.
Business Development Manager - Skills & Experience
  • Proven sales track record of selling into large UK retailers.
  • Able to work independently, efficiently and effectively on own Initiative.
  • Experienced achieving sales targets/KPIs and working to strict deadlines.
  • Possess a can-do attitude and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident conversing at all levels with strong business acumen.
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite and have good analytical skills.
  • Possess a Full Clean UK Driving License.
Business Development Manager position is offering £35,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary plus Commission & Benefits for the successful candidate.
