Job Description

We are seeking an organised and committed Audit Semi Senior to join our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will bring their expertise in auditing and finance to support the wider team and deliver an excellent service to our clientbase.Client DetailsA well positioned Practice based on the outskirts of Harrogate boasting a varied client base and seeing organic growth.Description

  • Assist in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for manager or partner review.
  • Produce work for the Manager and/or Partner review clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified.
  • Identify and understand client needs, suggest potential solutions on technical matters and communicate and agree client needs and potential solutions with managers.
  • Active engagement with senior staff to gain a good understanding of the business.
  • Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities to sell "add on" services to client management.
  • Build strong relationships with new and established clients.
  • Carry out ad hoc assignments as may be reasonably required by your group.
ProfileA successful Audit Semi Senior should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Working towards ACCA/ACA
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a UK practice
  • Experience in auditing and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
