Job Description

Working for a Fast-growing Energy business which specialises in reducing energy costs for large multi-site organisations. They have an excellent track record of developing and implementing energy efficiency projects that lead to fantastic savings for clientsusing the latest technology available.The role will be based at home with some working from their Harrogate office, It will involve travel to sites nationwide to support and monitor works carried out in the field which will require overnight attendance in some circumstances.The Associate Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Management Team implementing LED and BEMS energy efficiency projects nationally ensuring they are delivered safely on time and to budget Reporting to the Senior Project Management Team. Responsibilities Overall responsibility for the smooth running of projects in accordance with the companies procedures, client specifications and industry standards to deadlines, on budget and safely.The key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Ensuring projects are run in line with CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Management of sub-contractors.
  • Quality control of the work to ensure that it is completed to a high standard.
  • Monitoring and controlling project budgets.
  • Communication with senior management, the project team and the office based team with regular updates, consultation and support in safe working.
  • Ongoing dialogue with clients to ensure that their needs are met and they are regularly updated on progress.
  • Anticipating and mitigating problems before they arise.
  • Candidates for this role should have practical experience of working on projects under the CDM regulations.
  • You should have experience of project management or commercial electrical works.
  • An understanding of energy efficiency projects.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Driving license valid for driving in the UK
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and the Office package
