Job Description

Assistant Management Accountant

  • Harrogate - Hybrid Working
  • Up to £28,000pa dependent on experience

CANDIDATE BRIEFReporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will play an integral role in supporting with the preparation, analysis and delivery of the financial accounts for key clients across the business. This is a highly varied role that will require you to utiliseyour experience across a variety of responsibilities within the finance department. As such, our ideal candidate will be comfortable with high volumes of work and committed to providing a high quality and professional financial service that will support ourclients continuous growth plans.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide support to the wider financial department across group companies.
  • Assist the Group Financial controller in the delivery of financial accounts.
  • Preparation, review, and analysis of accurate and timely management accounts including commentary.
  • Respond to information requests, review financial statements, and assist with audits.
  • Banking including reconciliations, investigation, and ledger postings.
  • Support the accounts payable function including posting invoices and supplier statement reconciliation.
  • Act as a point of contact for external and internal stakeholders, dealing with any queries.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Working towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
  • IT proficient including Microsoft packages.
  • Experience with Microsoft Navision and Continia is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
