Job Description

Administration Manager

  • Annual Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 DOE
  • Location: Harrogate
  • Job Type: Full-time
An international business with a strong presence in Harrogate is seeking an Administration Manager to lead their team. Known for low staff turnover and providing consultative services to a broad customer base, this role is central to the company’s operations.The successful candidate will manage a team of 3 Administrators and ensure the smooth running of office functions. Some flexibility in start and finish times is offered, complementing the office-based role. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage a team of Administrative Assistants within the UK.
  • Perform a variety of tasks to facilitate efficient office operations.
  • Support wider business functions such as finance, HR, and IT.
  • Liaise with external service providers, clients, internal staff, and management.
  • Implement systems and policies effectively.
  • Assist with audits and support safety and quality representatives.
  • Act as a front of house representative, welcoming guests and managing external calls.
  • Prepare documentation and reports.
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external meetings.
  • Liaise with building management regarding office facilities.
  • Arrange worldwide courier services and travel accommodations.
  • Support client/office business development events.
  • Follow up on accounts receivable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a diverse administration role and team management.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in finance functions such as processing expenses and preparing invoices.
  • Eagerness to learn, improve processes, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Professional, personable, and a collaborative team player.
