We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic dietitian to join our adult team and share our busy workload.This is a newly created post to provide cover for a newly built Adult Assessment Unit for medical and surgical patients. Patients can stay on this ward for assessment for up to 72 hours, and will then either be discharged or may require transfer to a ward.You will be required to assess whether dietary issues need to be considered before discharge and what sort of signposting or handover will be required in the community. If the patient is admitted, handover may be required to dietetic colleagues covering the relevant ward.You will also cover a general ward and an out-patient clinic and work with the adult team of dietitians.
