Gap Personnel are currently looking for an experienced Farm Worker Breeders to join one of our clients based in between Diss and Beccles.We are looking for someone who can be reliable and able to provide a great support and knowledge in the process of obtaining top quality fertile hatching eggs.FULL TIME working 44 hours over 6 days per weekYour job will include but not be limited to:• Assist with stock inspections, body weighing, male and female management, nest hygiene, hatching egg management and cold storage;• Follow daily routines for feeding, water management, litter management and ventilation; • Monitor flock health by ensuring all vaccinations blood testing, etc are carried out accurately and at the correct time;• Ensure Health and Safety Policy is adhered to by referring to the Health & Safety, Risk Assessment and COSHH manuals;• Wear protective clothing (PPE);• Set up houses prior to intake and prepare for depletions;• Accurately record measurement data and respond accordingly;• Ensure maintenance of farms.Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:• Stock management background• Hands on• Enthusiastic in nature• Be prepared to work within farm and hatchery environment• Flexible, motivated, and good work ethic • Previous experience of working in an agriculture environment or similar positionRemuneration: A salary of up to £21,162, with excellent career progression opportunities.
