Hygiene Facilities Operatives (Cleaning)Location: Harlesden, North West LondonSalary: £8.72 per hourContract: Various contracts available (e.g. part-time, full-time, zero hours)Hours of Work Various hours and shifts available (to be discussed at interview)Hygiene Group Ltd. has a great opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail to become part of an experienced, dedicated and friendly Facilities Cleaning Team in Harlesden, North West LondonEstablished for over 30 years, Hygiene Group Ltd. is the market leader in the supply of specialist cleaning and hygiene support services to the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.With a UK-wide workforce of more than 500 fully trained employees, we are large enough to provide a complete cleaning solution whilst still maintaining the core values that have made us the specialist Hygiene and Cleaning Support partner of choice to a number of leading food and beverage manufacturers.The Facilities Cleaning Activities:The Hygiene Facilities Team carry out a variety of duties including office cleaning, amenities cleaning, canteen cleaning, laundry management, and janitorial tasks with a key focus on touchpoints such as handrails, door handles, barriers, etc. N.B. All necessary training & PPE will be provided.Reporting to the Contract Supervisor you will form part of a committed and established cleaning team ensuring that the site offices and facilities are maintained to necessary hygiene and cosmetic standards.Key Facilities Cleaning Team Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of cleaning, laundry, and janitorial tasks
  • Ensure all activities are carried out and signed-off in accordance with hygiene, quality, and safety standards
  • Ensure that correct cleaning equipment & materials are used appropriately
  • Ensure that waste material is correctly disposed of in accordance with the client’s environmental systems
  • Participate in mandatory training relating to hygiene, health & safety, and environmental issues
    • Along with a high standard of work ethics you will also require:
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work to time constraints both on your own initiative and as a part of a team
  • The ability to follow procedures thoroughly
  • A positive and approachable manner
