Job Description

At Fisher German our people and clients are at the heart of what we do. The focus of this role is to be responsible for supporting the Yardi Voyager System, accounting software and lease database designed for property investors and managers, to support our colleagues to deliver our services to our clients. Vine have worked on this software for more than 10 years, having completed system design, set up and migrations, for both their own and several client owned systems.This is a key role for the department and will involve working with both internal and external teams, including Client and Fund Accountants, Solicitors and Property Managers.To be successful you will need to be able to work with both accounting and non-accounting staff to ensure successful outcomes.The role will include:

  • Resolution of system issues affecting productivity of both accounting and surveying teams
  • Ongoing development of the in-house Voyager accounting software
  • Working with clients to develop client owned Voyager software
  • Testing of system changes
  • Production of Training Notes
  • Training for all users
  • Responsibility for setting up new instructions on the accounting software, to include
  • o Assistance with set up of client, property and lease data on various Voyager platforms
  • o Accounting for acquisitions and disposals from completion statements
  • o Accounting for tenant deposits - ensuring deposit accounts are opened and book entries are completed
  • o Implementation of service charge handovers on both acquisition and sale
  • o Handover to client & service charge accountant
    • The successful candidate will be:
  • An experienced accountant.
  • Professional Services or property experience preferred
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be proactive and able to prioritise work
  • Top quality interpersonal skills able to interact positively with clients, colleagues and contacts
  • A collaborative and cohesive approach to teamwork and delivery of service
  • Client delivery focussed
  • Experience of design and delivery of training and production of training materials
  • Good knowledge and experience of accounting systems
