We are currently recruiting for talented Registered Manager in Harborne, Birmingham.About the roleThis is a permanent, part time role,managing two supported accommodation services for young people aged 16-18.You will be working 3 days per week, and our client is flexible on the working days and hours, this can either be 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm or 10am -6pm, and can be any three days Monday - Friday.Our client is offering £25,000per annum.Due to new regulations, you will need to be registered with Ofsted. You will be overseeing a full time manager, who will assist in the running of the services.The role willinvolve the daily management of both services, support of staff and overseeing effectivesupport of the young peoplein their care. You will also be responsible for ensuring adequate staff levels including rota planning, leading and developing staff, dealing with referrals, dealing with and reporting any safeguarding issues, building effectiveprofessional relationships with stakeholders and preparing reportsto submit to Ofsted.About the companyThis is asmall company, who arecommitted to supporting the young people in their careby offering a high level of support so that they can achieve the best possible outcomes. The company currently has two services with a total capacity for 10 young people,however they are hoping to expand the business in the near future. Their aim is to open several childrens residential homes across the area, and so there will be the potential for progression within the company.Who we are looking forDue to Ofsted regulations, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a residential home within the last 5 years. Candidates should have experience working in a similar role, either as a registered manager or a deputy manager.Candidatesmust hold an NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People as a minimum, and a Level 5 in leadership and Management would be desirable. Candidates should also be able to drive, with access to a vehicle.
