Hampton Academies Trustc/o Eagle Way, Hampton Vale, Peterborough PE7 8BF.The Hampton Academies Trust was formed in September 2014 when Hampton College became a convertor academy and formed a multi-academy trust. In September 2017, our second school Hampton Gardens School opened to 180 year 7 students. The Trust’s latest new school project, Hampton Lakes Primary School, opened in September 2019 to 26 reception children. In December 2020, we were delighted to announce that Dogsthorpe Infant School had joined our Trust.Required as soon as possible:Test Processors & Test Assistants - £11.20 per hourTemporary roles initially until 30 April 2021 - flexible hours availableWe are seeking to appoint a number of Test Processors and Test Assistants on a temporary basis initially until the end of April 2021.These roles are to assist with the planned roll-out of Covid testing in schools. Testing will take place on a twice weekly basis with school staff and we anticipate will include the screening of all secondary students ahead of their return to school.The successful applicants will undertake DfE/NHS certified training for the roles and will be able to observe the process in action as part of their training (currently being undertaken by trained school staff). The tests themselves are carried out on a self swab’ basis, so no physical or close contact is necessary. Compliant PPE is provided and we follow all guidance on Covid security.The tests are intended to detect those who are Covid positive, but have no symptoms. Anyone who has Covid symptoms or is unwell would NOT be screened as part of this process.The roles might suit those on a gap year or are currently unable to return to university and/or those interested in a healthcare or bio-medical career.Testing will take place at Hampton College (Secondary Phase) and at Hampton Gardens School. Successful applicants could be deployed at either school, or may spend some time working at both.Working Hours:Testing will take place between the hours of 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.Flexibility around days and hours may be possible for the right candidate.
