The Trust is also the education provider for the neighbouring secondary school, Hampton Gardens Schooland Hampton Lakes Primary School, which opened in September 2019. In December 2020, we were pleased to welcome Dogsthorpe Infant School to the Trust. HAT schools have very close links and some shared staff.Hampton College currently serves the community of Hampton, on the southern outskirts of the city of Peterborough and has good links to Cambridge and Stamford. Hampton Gardens School serves the neighbouring Cambridgeshire village of Yaxley, as well new housingbeing added to the Hampton East development, where Hampton Lakes Primary School is located.Required as soon as possibleTEACHING ASSISTANT (LEVEL 3)We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join the team supporting students in the Secondary Phase of the College. For this position, you will need to have robust previous experience working as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant.Your main role will be to support the teaching staff and to work with other support staff to enhance the development and education of students. You will assist with the induction, assessment, intervention and support of all students. You will provide inputinto the planning and evaluation of learning activities for individuals and groups of students. As well as this, you will monitor individuals progress, achievements, development and report these to the teaching staff. Your role will include supporting thegeneral management of the department team. You will also have specific responsibility for managing the Communication and Interaction provisions within the department, including ASD, SLCN and associated needs.Teaching Assistant (Level 3)8.15am - 3.30pm(with a 45-minute lunch break)32.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday), term-time onlyGrade 7 - Actual Salary £16,186 - £18,592 per annumWhat we can offer you in return:
