Job Description

Hampton CollegeEagle Way, Hampton Vale, Peterborough, PE7 8BFHampton College is an established, successful, all-through school, which formed its own multi-academy trust (Hampton Academies Trust - HAT) in 2014. The Trust is also the education provider for the new neighbouring secondary school, Hampton Gardens School and Hampton Lakes Primary School, which opened in September 2019. HAT schools have very close links and some shared staff.Hampton College currently serves the community of Hampton, on the southern outskirts of the city of Peterborough and has good links to Cambridge and Stamford. Hampton Gardens School serves the neighbouring Cambridgeshire village of Yaxley, as well new housing being added to the Hampton East development, where Hampton Lakes Primary School is located.Required as soon as possibleRECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATORWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/Administrator to join our established office team.We are looking for a Receptionist/Administrator who can provide an efficient and effective reception facility and provide assistance to staff, students and visitors to the College. As a key member of the Administration Team the successful candidate will have good interpersonal and administrative skills and be able to confidently deal with people at all levels. Working as part of a small Administration Team the Receptionist/Administrator will be able to work to tight deadlines and have an excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will require a flexible approach to work, offering support to colleagues, when required and a positive can do’ attitude.Working Hours:35 hours per week, term time only plus 3 INSET training days8.00am to 3.45pm - Monday to Friday (with a 30-minute un-paid lunch break and a 15-minute un-paid morning break)Salary:Receptionist/Administrator (Grade 4)Full-time salary (52 weeks) From: £18,562 to £19,312 per annumTerm-time salary (35hrs per week/term time + 3 days) From: £14,815 to £15,414 per annumWhat we can offer you in return:
