Job Description

Hampton CollegeEagle Way, Hampton Vale, Peterborough, PE7 8BFHampton College is an established, successful, all-through school, which formed its own multi-academy trust (Hampton Academies Trust - HAT) in 2014. The Trust is also the education provider for Hampton Gardens and Hampton Lakes Primary School, whichopened in September 2019. Dogsthorpe Infant School also joined the Trust in December 2020. HAT schools have very close links and some shared staff.Hampton College currently serves the community of Hampton, on the southern outskirts of the city of Peterborough and has good links to Cambridge and Stamford. Hampton Gardens School serves the neighbouring Cambridgeshire village of Yaxley, as well new housingbeing added to the Hampton East development, where Hampton Lakes Primary School is located.Required as soon as possibleEXAMS OFFICERWe are currently looking for an Exams Officer to assist with the administration and organisation of all external and internal examinations at Hampton College. Working as part of the Data, Exams and Assessment team you will undertake a variety of administrativeduties to ensure that all exams are conducted accurately and efficiently in accordance with Awarding Body, JCQ and internal procedures.We are looking for a strong administrator who has a high level of accuracy and a good eye for detail. You will be a team player with a flexible approach and be willing to undertake a variety of duties as requested by the Data, Exams & Assessment Manager.You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential along with the ability to work quickly and effectively with various systems.As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing the arrangements for Staff Cover, using BROMCOM and liaising with the HR department to ensure the effective recording of staff absences on a day to day basis.Working Hours:This is a permanent position of 30 hours per week (term time only)with extended hours for 6 weeks during the summer exam season (May - June). Ten additional days to be worked during the year to support with exam results and trainingdays. The role is 5 days per week, 7.00am - 1.00pm, adjusting to 7.30am - 4.00pm - during the summer exam season for 6 weeks. Due to the nature of the role, the start times cannot be changed.Salary:Exams Officer (Grade 7)Full time salary (52 weeks) From: £22,183 to: £25,481Actual salary From: £16,514 to: £18,970(30 hrs / term time + extended hours + 10 additional days)What we can offer you in return:
