Job Description

Operations Manager£35,000-£42,500 DOE Hampstead Heath- Remote working available We are looking to speak to Operations Managers who are experienced within the charity sector who are based in London. Our client is one of the leading charities who provide accommodation and shelter for homeless people across London City as well as providing them with support through their troubles helping them prevent it happening again.As an operations manager you will be required to travel across London meeting with local councils and businesses to oversee the housing and support side of the charity, making sure that all parties are doing as much as possible to getting people off the streets. You will be in charge of the finances, building strong relationships, management of the team and most importantly securing positive outcomes for the lives of the people who need help.This role is Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm and this role comes with remote working but being in or close to London is essential. You will receive a company phone when you start and a Laptop after 3 months of being with the Charity.Key Duties

  • To manage the operations of housing and support
  • Manage and support team members effectively to deliver high quality care, support and housing management.
  • To monitor the quality of care, support and housing management processes
  • Take responsibility for the operations of financial process including debt recovery and managing budgets
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients, relatives, carers professionals and the local community
  • To ensure that there is full compliance with the commissioning requirements and the charity’s policies and procedures
  • What we are looking for
  • Experience of working for a similar charity dealing with Homelessness
  • Experience with managing budgets and expenditure
  • A good understanding of housing law, housing management procedures and housing agreements
  • Knowledge of the political and social context of work with single homeless people
  • To have the ability to develop and implement systems, policies and procedures
