Job Description

Keyworker/ Housing Officer£28,000-£30,000Hampstead heath- Remote working availableWe are looking to speak with Keyworkers who have experience with working with vulnerable people who are in need of accommodation and shelter. Our client is one of the leading charities who provide accommodation for homeless people across London as well as providing them with support through their troubles helping them prevent it happening again.As a keyworker you will be engaging, referring and supporting dependant alcohol and drug users so a sensitive approach is required, and you will offering advise and helping them get their lives back on track whilst finding the right support. You will also be supporting them to find sustainable employment in order to achieve independent living. They aim to improve the health and wellbeing of these individuals whilst providing high quality 1-2-1 care.Key Duties

  • Working and providing tailored support to individuals on a 1-2-1 and group setting in order to help them achieve their goals
  • Assisting individuals to overcome barriers, build confidence, improve wellbeing and enhance opportunities to find sustainable employment in order to achieve independent living
  • Complete individual risk assessments and agreed action plans
  • To self-manage your own calendar with appointments and sessions
  • What we are looking for
  • Experience of working and dealing with vulnerable individuals with complex needs
  • Worked within supported housing before
  • Worked within social work, support or a similar background
  • Had experience with delivering training sessions
