Job Description

A leading branding agency based in West London has an exciting opening an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. The Accounts Assistant is a vital part of the Commercial team managing and maintaining the whole accounts payable function of the company.Key responsibilities include:

  • Updating the bank rec on a weekly basis and post receipts & payments accordingly;
  • Maintain and monitor all aspects of the purchase ledger including managing the AP inbox;
  • Process payments runs on a timely basis;
  • Manage supplier and internal AP queries in a timely manner;
  • Process and validate all expenses, both internal and field staff. Ensure they are paid on a prompt basis;
  • Reconcile & process credit and cash card expenses;
  • Monitor and pay promotional staff floats;
  • New starter introduction for POs and expenses;
  • Support in credit control of outstanding invoices;
  • Support the team during the annual audit;
In addition to your finance duties, you will also be responsible for general office duties such as:
  • Point of contact for all head office suppliers
  • Ordering stationary & office equipment
  • Monthly IT mailbox review
  • Liaising with our mobile provider on staff phone issues/contracts
  • Liaising with IT provider for replacement devices/equipment for staff
  • Raising POs & adding expense lines for head office invoices
  • Ad hoc requests as required
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in a finance department
  • Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Previous Experience of Paprika software
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Can do attitude
