Job Description

Exciting Opportunity: Temporary Site Manager for Roofing and Cladding Refurbishment Project in Hamilton!Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a new freelance contract We have an exciting opportunity for someone like you! We are seeking a Temporary Site Manager to oversee a roofing and cladding refurbishment project in Hamilton working with a regionalbuilding contractor. This 6-7 week contract will commence on the 28th of June 2023.Position Overview:As the Temporary Site Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of the roofing and cladding refurbishment project. Your expertise and leadership will be critical in overseeing the project from start to finish, ensuring thehighest standards of workmanship and adherence to project timelines.Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the overall site management, ensuring all activities are executed in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Oversee the roofing and cladding refurbishment works, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations, and conducting regular site inspections.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Prepare accurate reports, including progress updates, site records, and safety documentation.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably with a background in roofing and cladding projects but general building experience also accepted
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate and motivate on-site teams.
  • Ability to manage project budgets, resources, and timelines.
  • SMSTS certification, First Aid at Work and CSCS card required.
