Rail Trainer / AssessorLocation: Hamilton, Lanarkshire, GB, G72 0FTAbout the roleHere at Babcock International, were looking to recruit a Rail Trainer / Assessor to join the team.You will be responsible for Assessor / Training activity of track safety, on track plant (OTP), PWAY and other small plant to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of a comprehensive Training and Competence assessment programme meeting the needs ofthe business.You will also ensure training and assessments are carried out in accordance with Sentinel Scheme rules, NSAR requirements & Network Rail Company / line standards, IRSE, CPCS, IRW and RSSB group standards.What do I need to do the roleYou must hold recognised training & assessing qualifications, for example; City & Guilds 7331 or A1/A2, V1 Qualifications.You will have previously delivered rail industry recognised training and assessing into the rail industry, and possess occupational rail experience having operated the necessary plant and equipment.You will also be prepared to travel to site to carry out training and assessments when required to.What else do I need to knowThis role is based out of our Hamilton office near Glasgow. Working hours are 35 per week Monday to Friday office hours, however you may be required very occasionally to work a weekend or night shift.We are happy to talk about flexible working.
