  • Full time, permanent
  • £10.42 per hour + £50 extra for sleep sessions
  • Full, cleaning driving licence held for 2+ years

Join our team and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.About the Role:As a Support Worker at ALS Support, you will provide outreach, homecare, sitting, or overnight services to adults with disabilities in the Calderdale area. With a focus on helping people in need, this role requires a clean driving license, as you will haveaccess to a van for wheelchair accessibility.Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
  • Provide personalised support to adults with disabilities
  • Utilise your clean driving license to assist with transportation using a wheelchair-accessible van
  • Complete documentation accurately and on time
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and report any concerns
  • Assist with personal care, medication administration, and household tasks as required
  • Conduct age-appropriate activities and outings for clients
  • Maintain open communication with clients, parents, and carers
  • Report any safeguarding issues promptly and professionally
The Ideal Candidate:We are looking for compassionate individuals with a desire to help people in need. While experience is desired, full training will be provided. The ideal candidate should have physical stamina, a clean driving license held for at least 2 years, and a strongcommitment to client welfare.
