Job Description

Are you looking fora new challenge Are you looking for that next step to progress in your career I am currently recruiting for a Procurement Officer based in HX3, however no previous Procurement experince is required!My client is a growing business looking for a candidate to grow within the role, and happy to consider candidates with as little as one years administration experince or a recent graduate with experience!Salary: Up to £25,000Location: HX3Hours of work: 9-5:30 (Can be flexable)Duties and responsibilities:

  • Completion of accurate pricing of all hardware orders
  • Manage project hardware budgets
  • Seek out cost saving opportunities to support the business’ goals of increasing gross profit on sales.
  • Represent procurement at internal project meetings and provide input on lead times and any supply chain issues
  • Track and manage all orders, logistics and deliveries to ensure stock is available for project delivery in the right place at the right time.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders – to flag any risks on supply chain and lead times that may effect the completion of projects.
  • Plan and facilitate domestic and global logistics delivery.
  • Completion of all project’s specific documentation.
  • Ensure that deliveries and lead times met are in line with stated requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Work with suppliers to drive for quality standards and outcomes in procurement and supply chain.
  • Develop, maintain and improve relationships with suppliers
Previous experience:
  • Excel skills
  • Budget management, not essential.
  • Self-motivated and proactive individual
  • Ability to deliver high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritise actions
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Problem solving capabilities and ability to ‘think on their feet’
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers and be confident
  • 1 years experience in procurement function is ideal however not essential.
