Job Description

Process Analyst - 6 month contract Hybrid - Halifax on site 2-3 days per weekUp to £450 per day outsideThe Process Analysis role will work with the Business Analysis chapter, working within the Business Design function. The Business Design Team provides stakeholders with information and insights that enable effective decision-making and prioritisation oftechnical and process change.What would you be responsible for in this role

  • Remapping the business
  • Modelling internal ways of working
  • Engineering and documenting a target process
  • Identifying weaknesses in existing processes through process analysis and feedback from stakeholders and able to measure and express the value of those improvements
  • Maintaining strong relationships with Business and Digital stakeholders, based on credibility, sound judgement and consistently delivering on our promises.
  • Creating and implementing a plan to complete the analysis with the allotted timeframe (including requirement elicitation, documentation and management)
  • Creating outputs that resonate with all project stakeholders and align to team standards
  • Reporting progress to project stakeholders
  • Adherence to change control procedures
  • Understanding, articulating and escalating issues, risks and dependencies in a timely fashion
  • Sharing learnings and insights with your team and wider community of practice
Skills/capabilities
  • Claims experience
  • Demonstrable ability to plan and implement an approach for requirements elicitation, drawing from experience in process modelling
  • Demonstrable ability to plan and implement an approach for requirements definition and management, including, but not limited to process modelling in BPMN.
  • Skilled in artefact management, including document reviews and walkthroughs, management of sign off, versioning and change control.
  • Experience of measuring processes and analysing data
  • Considers the required level of requirement decomposition, the level of detail to be specified, and the need to create different viewpoints to represent the same need, depending on the knowledge and understanding of the stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to identify and manage business and Digital stakeholder relationships up to Head of and Director level.
  • Involves and actively listens to all stakeholders to ensure they feel that they are heard and feel valued, and their contributions are recognised.
  • Demonstrable willingness and ability to challenge their teams and stakeholders in pursuit of a quality product.
  • Proven willingness to take accountability for the quality of requirements and desire to ensure the needs of the business are delivered.
