Maintenance Engineer - Trainee ConsideredElland - HalifaxNight Shift22.00 - 06.00£28,000 - £32,000 including Shift AllowanceElectrical qualification required.One of my well recognised and established manufacturing companies in Elland - Halifax have been at the forefront of technology and engineering and are now recognised as one of the leading providers with their industry.The Multi Skilled On-Site Engineer will undertake fault finding initiate machinery preventive repairs and testing new and existing plant machinery on site.Engineers that have dealt withplant industrial machinery would be a distinct advantage as it means we can get you started in the role straight away!We will also consider an Electrical Engineer graduate for this role based on site.The primary focus of the role is toprovide planned and preventive maintenance support as a key member of a production team in the night shift operation.You will be involved in carrying out in-process adjustments and repairing electrical, pneumatic and mechanical equipment when necessary. In addition, you will be assisting in production operations as required so a flexible approach to team working willbe key to your success.I ideally need you to will be mechanically qualified with experience of electrical safety, knowledge of 5s improvements would be an advantage.Working closely with the Engineering Operations manager you will sometimes be working alone and unsupervised so experience as a self-starter is preferred.The role is a great varied role which could involve repairs/ breakdowns both mechanical and electrical, fault finding on PLC software.This company has a super atmosphere and a great team spirit, so your knowledge and humour will be needed to communicate with both the internal and external teams please apply if you have recently graduated as an electrical mechanical engineer.
