Job Description

£45k-55k + Car allowance + Bonus. WFHA moulding machine manufacturer who are experiencing continued growth and gaining a stronger foothold of the UK market are actively seeking an experienced plastic Injection Moulding Professional with a flair for dealing with customers to join their salesteam.Working from home, you will be part of an established team, required to give consultative advice to new and existing customers on which machinery and equipment would best suit their needs.Within this role your duties will include -

  • Identifying and developing sales opportunities, working with new and existing customers
  • Planning and prioritising sales activities and prospect contacts, in order to achieve agreed sales and new business targets
  • Making sales calls to understand the demands and needs of customers
  • Recording customer information onto the company databases
  • Travelling to meet with potential customers
  • Preparing accurate quotes in a timely fashion, ensuring all quotations meet minimum profit margins as determined by the business
  • Attendance at key regional /national events/conferences/ to support customers and build relationships
To be successful in this role the ideal Candidate will -
  • Have an excellent understanding of injection moulding machinery and the injection moulding process
  • Have been an Injection Moulding Technician, Process Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer or Sales Engineer
  • Have experience within a customer facing role, with strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Be able to manage their own diary
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and be prepared to travel
  • Be based in the north of England
