Job Description

Job Purpose:We are recruiting on behalf of a first class skills, education and employment training provider who are recruiting an Information, Advice and Guidance Officer in West Yorkshire. The purpose of this role is to ensure clients are delighted with the learner engagement service. In particular, this includes engaging with potential candidates at schools, colleges and through other key stakeholders to provide information, advice and guidance, demystify work-based learning match candidates to live or forecasted work-based learning opportunities such as apprenticeships and traineeships. You will work closely with the marketing, employer engagement and centralized learner recruitment teams to run campaign-led engagement activity.Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and maintaining meaningful relationships key stakeholders such as schools, colleges, JCP branches, community and youth engagement centres and local authorities, by becoming trusted advisors to those organisations and their service users
  • Coordinating regular engagement campaigns that align with our overall engagement strategy, and particular clients recruitment needs
  • Attend careers events/shows (in conjunction with the marketing team) to promote our vacancies to suitable candidates
  • Providing information (and where appropriate advice) to potential candidates to help them make an informed decision about work based learning opportunities
  • Helping interested candidates apply for available vacancies, and become a part of ILE?s talent bank?
  • Supporting the employer engagement teams to facilitate and run assessment centre days - taking engage individuals and assessing suitability and matching for particular work-based learning positions (e.g. apprenticeships, traineeships and similar)
  • Assisting the centralised learner recruitment and employer engagement teams to meet their overall engagement goals by ensuring a pipeline of suitable candidates
  • Upholding our standard operating procedures and management events to ensure an efficient operation
  • Drafting (in conjunction with the marketing team) engagement materials - including advice, marketing and job advert copy
  • Contributing to our continuous improvement approach - to ensure our learner recruitment function is industry leading and becomes an integral part of our clients? businesses
  • Overall, you will also be expected to ensure that the employer client is delighted with our overall service provision, and that this is reflected in key satisfaction measures
  • Ensure our delivery exceeds internal quality expectations and external benchmarks such as Ofsted
  • Ensure that our overall commercial goals are met or exceeded, to provide a sustainable basis for our business

  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Previous KPI driven environment
  • Previous customer service, or other public facing engagement role
  • In return you will receive:
  • Salary £20,000-£24,000p.a (Depending on skills and experience)
