Job Description

Permanent | Full-TimeThe Together Housing Group is a leading Housing Association based in the North of England. We are based from Blackburn in the West to Hull in the East, with over 37,000 homes and actively improving the lives of over 50,000 residents. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a new grounds maintenance operative. This role will be based out of Calderdale, West Yorkshire.This role will be working annualised hours - 42 hours a week in the summer, 30 hours a week in the winter.The Together Housing Group is currently looking for a new operative to join our ever expanding team to carry out day-to-day grounds maintenance operations throughout Calderdale on the properties we manage, care for & maintain. The role is to ensure that areas are kept clean, tidy and most importantly safe for our customers.Your normal operations would consist of:

  • Grass mowing, strimming, blowing
  • Edging
  • Herbicide spraying
  • Hedge & shrub cutting
  • Clearing & tidying of sites
  • Litter picking and removal
