Engineering Stores PersonHalifax HX3Up to £25,000Our client are an International Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) organisation managing its customers indirect material spend via an integrated e-procurement platform. Their client list includes multinational organisations such including high end automotive manufacturers to global pharmaceutical manufacturers to leading food manufacturers.Their offering in the market is unique - this is why they continue to grow at a phenomenal rate. They have more than doubled in size over the last six years, growing their turnover from £84m to £300m.In 2017 they acquired another business and recently moved into new premises to accommodate the growth. Headquartered in Warrington (Birchwood) but with over 350 stores across the UK, Europe and Singapore and recently expanded into Ireland, Germany, Sweden, France and Slovakia. As a result of the growth, we are now looking a Engineering Stores Envoy to work on site within one of their sites in Halifax.As the Stores Envoy, As a front facing representative of the company you will be responsible for ensuring the Stores are maintained to a high standard and take full responsibility for the availability of products of which will be bought both effectively and efficiently in order to deliver savings to the Client. You will also be responsible for the sourcing of ad hoc stock and/or non-stock items as required from new and existing Suppliers in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal procedure(s).* To source ad hoc stock and/or non-stock items on request of the Client in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and internal procedure(s)* To assist the Client in the selection of goods and to advise of alternative products where appropriate to negotiate cost reductions * To liaise directly with the Procurement department with respect to additional product information where necessary* To process orders as required with the correct procedure* To consistently deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional and courteous relationship with the Client* To issue stock products to the Client* To source and make available supplier catalogues and product reference material for the Client* To expedite all outstanding purchase orders in timely manner when required* To accurately and efficiently record goods delivered into the stock control system* To release products on back order for delivery to the Client* To confirm customer deliveries in a timely manner* To ensure approved documentation is accurately completed and authorised where necessary* To complete stock deliveries in line with Company standards (within one working day of receipt of goods)* To conduct rotational stock checks* To record stock locations for new products required in store* To record stock adjustments and to action as appropriate* To maintain a high level of housekeeping in line with Company standards* To attend site meetings when required to discuss any issue(s) within store and to follow up appropriately* To carry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature and responsibilities of the job roleSkills Required:* A positive attitude with the ability to deliver excellent Client experience and satisfaction* A good team player with the ability to respond efficiently and effectively to the needs of the Client* Strong problem solving skills* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy* Exceptional customer service skills* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written* Excellent IT skills (SAP experience desirable but not essential)* Strong organisational skillsKnowledge Required:* Working knowledge of Stores, inventory management and stock control systemsHoursMonday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30 or 07:30 - 16:00 Required skills
