Job Description

CNC MillerLocation: HalifaxHours of work: Day shifts 08.00-16.30 Monday & Thursday & 08.00 -14.30 Friday Flexibility on start and finish timesHolidays: 20 days plus bank holidays & ChristmasSalary: Up to £18.50 ph- Dependant on experienceThe Role:A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Miller. Our client is a leading Engineering company based in Halifax.In your role you will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of a Heidenhain control CNC Miller.

  • Program Jobs unaided from drawings using Heidenhain control
  • Program jobs with 4th Axis
  • Load machine with Vices / Fixture
  • Load the tooling with correct offsets
  • Upload programs
  • Run the jobs to completion to our exacting standards
Person experience & qualifications:
  • Setting & programming on CNC milling machine
  • Reading from engineering drawings
  • Using measuring equipment
