Global consumer durables product manufacturer.Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager and working within a growing team of 10 spanning digital, marketing and creative, the Ecommerce Merchandiser will be responsible for the creation and updating of all online product imagery and content- establishing an online content plan to ensure quality and consistency of product merchandising across all global ecommerce and marketplace sites.- establishing processes that will ensure new products are photographed and videod every time, to a high standard, and that the imagery and content is pushed out across all channels in time for launch- working on improving the effectiveness of product pages on marketplace sites such as Amazon- focus on attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of information and product detail- Using analytics to inform decision makingThis role would suit an Ecommerce Merchandiser, Online Merchandiser, Online Channels Merchandiser, or Marketplace Merchandiser looking for a new challenge. Candidates should come with 1 years experience in an ecommerce related merchandising role, and have some or all of the following - An understanding of how to optimise product imagery and content to improve effectiveness online - An understanding of the impact of great content on SEO, and the ability to monitor performance- Experience with split testing / AB testing in order to draw performance insights- Adobe Creative Cloud experience for editing imagery and copy / contentThe Ecommerce Merchandiser will be joining a business established over twenty-five years ago.
