This enables them to provide the scale & depth of offer required to fulfil the largest and most complex of supply agreements.With over 50 branches across the UK, Hayley Group continues to invest in their branch network, to ensure they operate close to their customers, providing access to the stock, services and technical personnel that their customers rely on to maintain operations.They are currently seeking an Account Development Representative to join their growing, fast paced Online Division at their Head Office in Halesowen. The ideal candidate must be a motivated self-starter with a passion for customer service and ideally an interest within the engineering industry.Working Hours: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm 1:4 Saturday Mornings. Additional working hours may be required during busy periods.Purpose: Within this role you will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining the key accounts for the Online department, with a majority of your time spent in the office on the phone trying to secure new business. You are expected to learn Hayley’s bespoke IT system to accurately identify, source and price items, record enquiries and orders, invoices and other documentation. Excellent computer and communication skills are an essential part of this role.Main duties & responsibilitiesLearn Hayley’s ERP and bespoke IT systemsEstablish productive, professional relationships with board level and Senior Operational personnel in target customer accountsProvide accurate forecasting for customer portfolioMeet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts/new accountsProvide monthly performance reports to Director levelEngage with all internal departments when required, i.e. Purchasing, Marketing, Accounts etcUndertake other similar or associated duties as may be assigned to youKnowledge & Skills requirementsMinimum 24+ months experience in a business/account development roleClean and valid UK Driving LicenceGood local geographical knowledgeTrack record of success in developing sales/account growthExcellent communication/telephone skillsExcellent IT skills, with specific focus on ExcelAdaptable approach to work with a willingness to quickly learn new systems and processesStrong customer focus and the ability to strive for the highest level of serviceMust be comfortable working as part of a team environment Great attention to detailTime management and organisational skills Ability to work in a face paced environment and work to deadlines/targetsOn offer is a competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.To apply for this role please send your CV via this jobsite.Please note that your CV will be forwarded to Hayley Group who will be in touch with you directly if they are interested in pursuing your application.
