  • Develop a 5- and 15-year asset management plan, liaising with the Capital Projects team to ensure they deliver solutions which achieve Property Operations aspirations.
  • Review Technical Subs in a timely manner and comment upon performance.
  • Project Manage ALL Life Cycle projects within the Life Cycle Plan, including procurement & act as a client under the CDM 15 regulations.
  • Project managing from concept to completion, including all staff and contractors.
  • Ensuring that the Property Operations Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) remains fit for purpose and be 1st level manager of the service provider.

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
Youll have the following skills/experience:
  • Formal Building Services Engineering training with a background and ONC/HNC qualification in Building Services Engineering (HNC or above preferred). Those with a degree level or above are at an advantage.
  • Significant experience in Asset Life Cycle management including delivering projects against plan, improving, and delivering workplace related systems such as CAFM or BMS and Project Development and Management experience.
  • Complete awareness, understanding and implementation of legislative and regulatory requirements specific to Building Services.
  • Delivering innovation in Asset Operations and reducing Utility consumption.
  • IOSH Managing Safely accreditation is essential (NEBOSH General Certificate desirable).
  • Candidates with a PRINCE2 qualification/ L8 awareness training or previous healthcare experience will be at a distinct advantage.
