Job Description

Tech Director (C++ Unreal Engine CTO AAA Games) *WFH / Guildford* to £90k + bonusWould you like to take on an impactful, senior level role as a Tech Director within an award- winning games studioYoud be working alongside a friendly, supportive, and passionate team within a highly profitable and stable business.Salary & Benefits:

Your Role:As a Tech Director you will take on a key role within the company, heading up one of their hugely successful games series, including a brand-new project which is currently under NDA. Youll be leading a team or around 50 and will work closely with technicalleads to establish strategies, choose the technical direction, and push technical boundaries in areas such as cameras, VFX, and lighting to ensure engaging, industry leading games are created. As a member of senior leadership, you will be able to make a realimpact on the team and will work closely with other directors to provide a clear vision for the games, providing pragmatic technical solutions to support game features and giving sound technical advice to help project planning.Office & WFH:Youll be based in modern offices within walking distance of the train station. You wont be expected to be in the office every day and can work remotely up to 2 days a week.Requirements:
  • You come from an engineering background ideally using C++ and Unreal Engine, or any OO programming language
  • Youll have experience as a Technical Director or senior level Tech Lead working within a game studio (likely AAA titles)
  • You have a breadth of knowledge spanning game development, engineering, and technical / creative areas of production
  • You have very strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • You are creative, open-minded, and always striving for quality
