Senior Software Engineer / C++ Developer (Compilers) *Flexible Working* Exciting start up founded on advanced academic research is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance their capabilities as they navigate rapid growth. Their mission is simple: to enable users to streamline software development and optimise innovation. They have produced their own programming language that allows developers to build their software, automatically verify it and generate high-quality, reliable runtime code. Their core platform is world-class, advanced and scalable, and has huge potential for the future of software development. As a Senior Software Engineer, youll take ownership of the design and development of new features and enhancements on the cutting-edge core product and will develop high quality C++ components using industry best practices. Your work will ensure users can work enjoyably with the original programming language, so youll writing user-facing tools like automatic formatters, execute code completion and produce simulators to help users understand the code theyve written even before executing a line of it in production. Youll be based in Guildford two days a week, and working the remaining three days at home. When at the Guildford office, there is free parking available and is a short walk from a well-connected station.
