Job Description

  • Responsible for the induction and training of staff within the dispensary, under the supervision of the Lead Technician.
  • Responsible as a super-user for the Dispensing Robot.
  • Responsible for the line management of designated staff
  • Supervise the daily activities of staff working within the inpatient dispensary
  • Supervise the inpatient dispensary for the distribution of drugs and vaccines to wards, departments and community clinics
  • Assist with and co-ordinate when required, the daily stock take of drugs and disposables.
  • Work independently within appropriate occupational guidelines, referring to the manager when necessary. Outcomes will be assessed at agreed intervals.
