Job Description

Senior IT TechnicianLocation: GuildfordSalary: £26,610- £29,199 per annumOur client is seeking to appoint a Senior IT Technician responsible to assist in the support, management and maintenance of their school IT network based in Guildford.Although you will predominantly be working at one of their Guildford Schools, you will need to be flexible in order to support IT requirements across their 12 schools.They have network staff across their Multi Academy Trust with group communications and bi-annual meetings. This creates a community where they help each other resolve issues and work towards joint goals.The Role The role will have specific responsibilities:

  • IT repair and maintenance
  • Helpdesk & support requests
  • Software installations and maintenance
  • Assist with the backup systems
  • Assist with maintaining physical and virtual servers
  • Network security
  • Assist with internet access and filtering
