Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Laboratory Technician in the School of Veterinary Medicine, supporting our research laboratories in their day to day operations.The School of Veterinary Medicine aims to create a wealth of new knowledge of the animal world, taking a multi-disciplinary approach to veterinary education and research and creating the veterinary leaders of the future. Our culture empowers people to achieve this aim and to collectively, and individually, make a real difference.About the RoleWorking as part of the technical staff you will help in delivering a high standard of technical support for the schools research laboratories, as well as occasionally assisting in delivering teaching in our practical and teaching laboratories.About YouIdeally, you will have an understanding of good laboratory practice and be willing to learn all aspects relating to the role, as well as have an understanding of relevant health and safety standards.If you are an enthusiastic individual who is keen to join our School of Veterinary Medicine, and is motivated to do contribute to the success of the faculty, we would be delighted to hear from you.
