Job Description

During a period of key expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a professional individual to join a Specialist Pensions and Wealth Management firm with a long standing, committed and friendly team.The role will include some of the following responsibilities:

  • Technical Pensions Administration
  • Receiving instructions from introducers, clients and other members of staff, and ensuring that any task is accurately completed and recorded
  • Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and advisers
  • Keeping clients and financial intermediaries updated on specific matters or issues affecting their schemes
  • Communicate effectively with client/members via the telephone, letter and email.
  • Recognise and escalate potential problems and potential complaint cases.
  • Monitor own workflow to ensure service levels are achieved.
  • Accurately perform manual calculations.
  • Assist the wider team in more complex / project work when required.
This is a fast-paced role and the ideal candidate will hold the following skills and experience:
  • 2 years experience in Pensions Administration experience
  • Knowledge of SIPP, SSAS, Defined Benefits or Defined Contributions
  • Good numerical skills, with an eye for detail
  • Time management awareness and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Pension qualifications are preferable
