Networking Wired and Wireless Field Service and Installations Engineer Aruba / CiscoLooking for an experienced Networking Engineer to be trained on installations and service maintenance of IPTV systems (networked media solutions) and associated Wi-Fi systems, installed in commercial clients (mainly hotels).This role is to install, service and support professional secure wired and wireless networking solutions that integrate with payment systems into mostly hotels.This role involves covering sites UK-wide, with occasional international travel. You must be flexible to do overnight stays both in the UK and internationally when doing installations and upgrade projects (approx. 75% of the role).Majority of the project work is in SE England / London, and the majority of support can be completed via remote log in. The head office is located in Billingshurst, West Sussex an ideal home location would be 1 hours driver thereof.Technically we require previous transferable experience implementing and maintaining similar wired, wireless & security networking solutions, data cabling skills, and in-depth knowledge of switching.They mainly use the HP Aruba range of switches knowledge of similar CISCO switching would be acceptable, as the principles are very similar.Training on their media systems side of the solution will be given.Applicants for this role must have: a full drivers licence, be able to pass DBS checks, be flexible to travel and have worked as a field based Network / Data Cabling / Systems Installations Engineer with responsibility for Wi-Fi, IP Networking, switching etcSalary on offer will be around basic £30 - £38K (DoE) + £4500 in on call (1 in 4) + Co Car (VW Passat) or tax free van option.
