Job Description

Mobile Sales and Service TechnicianSalary: Competitive + Bonus scheme + overtimeBenefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension scheme, Bonus scheme, Company van, mobile phone/PDA and full trainingHours: Full time + after hours call out roster every 3rd weekly basisLocation: Guildford based company – work in the surrounding areaAre you someone with mechanical aptitude or experience that is looking for an opportunity with a market leaderAre you a well organised, well-motivated individual with good communication skills If so, please read on...Since entering the UK market in 1988 our client has become the number one provider of Mobile/On Site Hydraulic Hose Replacement and are a £multi-million turnover business with a network of regional depots across the UK.Due to continued success they are seeking an outgoing and competitive MSST (Mobile Sales and Service Technician) Servicing and replacing on site hydraulic hoses to join their team. They are looking to employ a confident and self-motivated individual who can work well as part of a team servicing customers in and around the Guildford & Surrey area.Duties Include:

  • Identify faults, service and repair a wide variety of plant and machinery, predominantly focusing on hydraulic hose equipment, across a wide variety of industries
  • Comply with all Health and Safety requirements ensuring all machinery is safe and fit for purpose
  • Work independently and communicate at all levels, in a professional manner, whilst offering technical support and performing breakdown assistance
  • Proactively approach and introduce our full product range to new customers and develop our existing accounts to increase revenue and market share
    • The Ideal Candidate:
  • Background in mechanical engineering/fitting or be a time served apprentice
  • Experience in fitting or maintaining hydraulic equipment and plant machinery is desirable
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
  • Has the desire to deliver excellent customer service
  • Capable of building strong relationships to increase sales
  • A can do attitude will be essential to maintain the high level of service
