Job Description I am looking for a Java Developer to join a financial services company based in Guildford. As the Java Developer you will need to have experience in design, development, and test of code. Java Developer - Guildford - £600 PD Inside IR35 - 6 Month ContractI am looking for a Java Developer to join a financial services company based in Guildford. As the Java Developer you will need to have experience in design, development, and test of code. You will investigate and resolve technical issues and implement automationtools and frameworks. Key Skills:
  • Experienced with application programming in Java 8+/J2EE
  • Hands on experience in DevOps patterns and practices.
  • Experienced in Spring Boot and microservices architecture
  • Hands on experience in Unit testing, integration testing, Code quality Analysis
  • Experience in working with tools for Issue tracking system, Version control, Build management (Preferably SVN, Jira, Github, Gitlab, Jenkins etc)
  • Good understanding of using Apache & Nginx web servers for deployments and hosting
  • Knowledge in UNIX based Operating systems environments.
Desirable Skills:
  • Fair knowledge in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Openshift.
  • Good to have experience in Spring/Hibernate framework and related patterns in MVC.
  • Good to have experience in monitoring tools like Nagios and Splunk
