Job Description

HR Information Systems Programme Manager(1-Year Fixed Term Contract)

  • Salary: £90k-£105k + £15k End of Contract Bonus + 16% Pension, 30 Days Holiday, Full Family Healthcare & Additional Benefits

Role Overview:This Senior Programme Manager role in the Technology team focuses on the creation and delivery of strategic HR change projects and programmes. The main responsibility is to manage the transformation of the core HCM system (Workday) while collaborating withsenior stakeholders. The role requires a change delivery specialist to oversee the entire process of complex change initiatives in HR Technology and work closely with the HR leadership team and vendors to ensure successful implementation.Key Skills & Experience:
  • Extensive experience with HR technology applications, particularly Workday
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale transformation programs using agile and waterfall frameworks
  • Strong understanding of integrations and data flows in complex HR technology environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in leading HR and/or Finance Transformation programmes
  • Knowledge of HR Operations, Strategy & Team Leadership
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation and management of enterprise-scale HR Information Systems
  • Drive change management and process-driven transformation in HR Operations
  • Develop strategies and roadmaps for multi-stream HR Technology improvement programmes
  • Lead programme steering groups and manage senior stakeholders, including HR Leadership Teams, delivery teams, and business users
  • Implement global HR Systems, Recruitment (ATS), Learning (L&D) systems, and AI, ML & Analytics Insights capabilities
Ideal Candidate:
  • The ideal candidate will be an experienced and driven HR Transformation Consultant with a background in HR business functions and consultancy skills, preferably within Financial Services or a regulated environment. They will have strong project managementskills, the ability to manage multiple workstreams and dependencies, and be enthusiastic about driving meaningful change.
