In turn, embarking on an ambitious journey to double the size of the business with a goal to reach a £100M turnover over the next 3-5 years.Head of Safety & Compliance – The Role:In a new role for the business, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation complies to all regulatory and legal requirements e.g. Ofgem, FCA, and that a culture of compliance is embedded across the company. It is a key role in developing,implementing and improving compliance programmes alongside mitigating risk and ensuring health and safety standards are adhered to across the business.Head of Safety & Compliance – Key Responsibilities:-Ensure regulatory compliance by monitoring and interpreting energy sector regulations e.g. Ofgem, Trustmark-Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures while assessing and mitigating risks-Oversee internal investigations and audits, reporting findings to management and authorities-Provide compliance training, maintain records and manage ethics-Collaborate with other departments, advising senior management, and continually improve the compliance program to align with industry best practicesHead of Safety & Compliance – You:- Min. of 10 years experience within risk and compliance, with a min. of 5 years being within a senior management role- Existing knowledge of Ofgem regulations is essential- Previous experience of working within a highly regulated environment- Ability to drive change and take the lead on all things compliance, risk and health and safety across the groupHead of Safety & Compliance – Benefits:- Flexible working arrangements- Free lunches when in the office- Access to own training budgetTo submit your CV for this exciting Head of Safety & Compliance opportunity, please click ‘Apply’ now!
