Job Description

Our client is global Tech company based in Guildford and is looking for a Financial Controller to join the team due to growth and acquisition. The Financial Controller is the interface between the region (UK) and international locations with focus on steeringthe P/L (profit & loss), analysing financial results and challenging the business.What You Do* You will analyse financial performance of the UK branch, identify key drivers, risks and opportunities* You will be responsible for monthly analysis of costs and billing* You will monitor actuals vs. plan, analyses deviations and their drivers, recommend measures to ensure plan achievement and tracks ongoing progress, for example major project initiatives* You will develop recommendations for financial targets within the operational planning and forecasting process* You will support and challenge business representatives based on financial analysis* You will contribute, establish and further develop guidelines, methods, processes and systems for controlling topicsWhat You Bring* You are a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)* You have a good background in financial controlling, planning and analysis* You are able to work independently and solve problems or situations based on multiple sources of information* You have strong skills in Excel and experience with systems that are relevant for Controlling, such as SAP FI-CO/BW and Service Now* You have an understanding of IT costs and IT services (desirable)What they offer* We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working* We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location)* From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered* Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teachOur client is the global IT service provider and delivers IT solutions that drive the digitalization of the Group.
