Job Description

Digital Fundraising Manager with strong copywriting skills, creative flair, working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics and confident communication skills is required for a well-established Charity.SALARY: Up to £30,000 pro rata, actual salary £24,000 per annum + BenefitsLOCATION: Hybrid role - homebased working for most of the time with a need to attend head office in Godalming on occasionJOB TYPE: Part-Time, PermanentWORKING HOURS: 28 hours / 4 days per weekJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Digital Fundraising Manager with strong copywriting skills, creative flair, working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics and confident communication skills.As the Digital Fundraising Manager you will join a dynamic and inclusive team, playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organisation’s digital fundraising strategy.Working as the Digital Fundraising Manager you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of representing the supporters’ voice, inspiring more people to interact and donate to the cause.Your copywriting skills will be put to use in managing all online activities within gaming, merchandising and fundraising appeals, delivering impactful digital fundraising campaigns and monitoring key objectives and KPIs.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as a Digital Fundraising Manager will include:

  • Responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating online gaming, merchandise, fundraising appeals and committed giving programmes to raise agreed income targets
  • Deliver required income to support the Charity’s annual budgets and KPIs
  • Keep up to date with sector-wide digital trends and lead digital fundraising innovation within the team and share with Operations Directorate to help create a testing and learning environment
  • Work with the Digital team to create cohesive social media campaigns for all digital activities; build a coherent and consistent brand identity; research and test paid advertising
  • Monitor and demonstrate achievement of set objectives and KPIs, reporting on performance for all digital campaigns
  • Work in line with company policies and processes, in particular health and safety and information security
  • Actively work to embed sustainability into day-to-day practices, advancing sustainability at the charity
  • Take an inclusive and collaborative approach to teamwork and stakeholder engagement
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience in a digital marketing role or digital fundraising role
  • Proven experience of copywriting for various audiences
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering digital strategies thorough understanding of the digital experience across third sector markets
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Sensitive and effective interpersonal skills - able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with staff, supporters and other stakeholders
  • Able to generate solutions, analyse and understand issues and make rational judgments based on relevant information
  • Confident and effective communication skills
  • Intermediate MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • A genuine empathy and compassion for animals
  • A collaborative approach to work and a commitment to the values of accountability, openness and diversity
  • A credible, approachable person that can build rapport and win hearts and minds
  • The courage and resilience to work in challenging environments and manage demands in an emotionally mature way
