Job Description

Class 2 Driver HIAB (GRAB)Location: GuildfordPay PAYE: £14.00 Per hour Monday to Friday.PAY LTD: £16.00 Per hour Monday to Friday.The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking a Class 2 HIAB Driver for one of our clients In Guildford.The successful candidate will possess a current and valid Category C Licence, DIGI tacho, CPC And HIAB Certificate (GRAB)This is an on-going role for the right candidate starting asapHours off Work:

  • Monday to Friday: 0730-1630 but start times may vary due to the nature of the role.
    • Rate of Pay:Monday to Friday: £14.00 P/H.Responsibilities of the Class 2 HIAB Driver:
  • Operate a Class 2 vehicle from Guildford to various locations around the Southeast of the UK. Delivering and distributing DIY products to private and commercial customers.
  • Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with Company policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
  • Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely Interact with dispatchers and others on a daily basis to ensure all task are carried out in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
    • Requirements of the Class 2 Driver:
  • Category C Licence.
  • CPC.
  • Digi Tacho.
  • IN Date HIAB Certificate
