Your new roleWe are looking for an Assistant Contract & Performance Manager who will be responsible for performance managing the M25 Design, Build, Finance and Operate (DBFO) Contract. You will also manage contractual risks, analyse supplier performance and assist in the delivery of audits. A key part of this is role is building and maintaining relationships both internally and with suppliers to drive improvements and deliver required performance by ensuring a consistent approach to supplier management.What you’ll be leading on• Managing the governance of specific elements of one contract by monitoring the performance and compliance of the contract to deliver value for money• Monitoring the DBFO Contract against annual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring targets are met and assisting where necessary to enable targets to be met.• Building and maintaining relationships both internally and with suppliers to drive improvements and deliver required performance• Assisting with supplier audits, ensuring a consistent approach to supplier management and working to achieve best practice• Collating and analysing performance and compliance data and identifying significant variances. Administering the performance mechanisms under the contract, sharing effective practice, supporting benchmarking activity and contributing to consistency of reporting.• Assessing and developing recommendations for measuring performance of suppliers to create efficiencies and to deliver prioritised programme of works.To be Successful• Experience of working on service based maintenance or construction contracts, typically in the highways sector• Excellent communication skills• Strong analytical skills• Tactful in difficult situations• An ability to work with others, specifically the Operations Team, Asset Delivery and all relevant stakeholders.A bit about usMaking sure our customers have safe and reliable journeys is at the heart of everything we do in Operations.
