JOB TITLE: Adult Social Worker - Waverly Locality TeamSALARY: Up to £37 (Per Hour)LOCATION: Guildford- Flexible working preference (Hybrid/ Remote)Job Requirements:* Sound knowledge of social care processes and responsibilities in line with personalisation, self directed support and person centred planning.* An understanding of the principles of confidentiality and information governance and how these apply to social care.* Ability to write assessment documents, letters, emails and reports in a way that is clear and easily understood by anyone reading them.* Ability and willingness to develop effective professional reflective supervision skills to support less experienced qualified staff.* Ability to understand the forms of harm and their impact on people, and with support, to identify and plan for safeguarding.* Experience of communicating with compassion and authority in challenging situations and with resistant individuals, and proven ability to effectively engage with people in complex situations both short term and building relationships over time.The ideal candidate will hold a full UK Drivers License, have access to a car, be registered with Social Work England and currently have an enhanced DBS.Pay rate - Up to £37 per hour for more senior members of staff.Connect2Surrey is part owned by Surrey County Council and therefore has access to all general temporary agency roles at Surrey County Council before they go to external agencies.
