Job Description

Due to continued growth and demand, my client has a newly created requirement for an experienced customer-focused IT Infrastructure Engineer. This role will be based out of Guildford and is paying up to £45,000 + £4500 car allowance & further benefits.My client is a Microsoft Gold Partner MSP with an impressive number of SME customers in the Greater London, Surrey, Hampshire, Kent & Sussex areas.To be considered for this position you will have a strong background in 3 rd line support as well as experience with install, rollout &/or migration projects.As an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer you will be highly competent with a Microsoft stack consisting of:

  • Windows Server
  • Active Directory (ideally Azure AD)
  • Office 365 - Exchange Online & SharePoint Online
  • Windows 10
    • Any experience with VMWare, HyperV, antivirus, firewalls, backup solutions, and network switches & routers would be beneficial but NOT essential.Working for an MSP as an IT Consultant you will be providing 3 rd line BAU infrastructure support to a wide variety of SME customers. In addition to your BAU support work you will also be responsible for various implementation & migration projects – predominantly on-prem to cloud migrations – so a good experience in managing your own projects will be important.PLEASE NOTE – due to Covid19 guidelines this role is currently Work from Home based, however, once we return to more normal times and it is safe to do so there will be requirements to visit customer sites on a regular basis, so you MUST have a full UK driving license and own transport.This role is paying between £40,000 - £45,000 + £4500 car allowance, pension, healthcare, dental, life assurance, childcare vouchers, and Cycle to Work scheme.
